No matter what type of yoga lover you are, whether full-time or Saturday morning yogi, yoga veteran or fresh-from-the-boat into the gentle waves of the yoga waters – you have certainly found something deer to you in yoga. After all, how can you not appreciate something that is so good for both body and soul? So why not have a regular visual reminder of these ancient philosophical teachings from India in the form of some beautiful yoga prints. Because yoga takes place not only on the mat, but also at the desk, while washing dishes, with the children and on Zoom calls.
Hindu spirituality as living room pictures? We say: sure, because everything that regularly reminds us of our practice can actually only be in accordance with this philosophy. Even if in the western world yoga is often understood as the way to smoother hips, a pain-free back or better Instagram posts, it is in its true sense actually a way to self-knowledge. The philosophy includes not only physical, but also a whole range of spiritual practices, whereby the guiding idea is to connect body, mind and soul with one another and to bring them into harmony. The term ‘yoga’ comes from ‘yuga’, which means ‘yoke’ in Sanskrit – we want to yoke the body to the mind, to bind both together (for example through the breath with ‘pranayama’). By the way, every path to self-knowledge can be called yoga, even if we Westerners understand yoga primarily as the asanas that we do in the yoga studio or at the instruction of a youtuber. By the way, in 2016 yoga was declared UNESCO World Heritage!
So how can we achieve the perfect look for your yoga art? As a yogi, you certainly value sustainability, just like we do. A beautiful and natural option is our canvas as a picture carrier for your yoga artwork. It has a positive effect on the room acoustics, too, and is also particularly pleasant to the touch, while radiating warmth and naturalness. The robust solid wood stretcher frames used for our canvasses come from sustainable forestry and are characterized by their long-lasting stretch. With our framed posters you will also receive a ready-to-hang piece of yoga art, whereby the solid wood for the frame comes from sustainable forestry as well.
