Martin, where are you from and where do you live now?
I am from lower Saxony in Germany and grew up in Brunswick. I then lived in Hanover for about 10 years and then moved to Nuremberg, where I now work and live.

Minimalistic.

What's on top of your bucket list (as an artist or just as a person)?
To travel the world, meet interesting people and see different cultures.

New York for taking photos, the remote mountain hut for my next holiday.

Moments in which one is completely at one with oneself. That can happen in different situations: with friends, at work, when reading, when taking photos, when hiking, ...

Which living person do you most admire?
I do not think much of such things.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Politeness - if it's getting in the way of honesty.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My girlfriend, our dog, and mathematics (my jealous lover).

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
I'm quite happy. Thus, being me again would be quite nice for me.
