Jane Bark illustrated a series of fashion posters for Wahl's collections of clothes during the seventies. Tight sweaters, blouses, blazers, flared pants and so-called shorts, with many different patterns in matching colors, typically dominated fashion in the early 1970s.
The posters, which were the company's only advertising, were mainly used in department stores and in show rooms. The collections often had a theme; Japan-inspired, peacock pattern or anything else that could give an image idea. The posters were extremely popular in Sweden at the time and even abroad. Jane illustrated a total of 16 posters for Wahls during the seventies.
