Philipp, where are you from and where do you live now?
I grew up in a small town near Ingolstadt, more precisely in the nature park Altmühltal in Beilngries, surrounded by a lot of nature. I still live there today.
-
How would you describe your artistic style?
I’m always looking for the perfect foreground. My pictures should convey the mood as I was able to enjoy it myself on the spot.
-
What's on top of your bucket list (as an artist or just as a person)?
To see as much of the world as possible, to get to know different cultures, to be free and to enjoy the time in the best possible way.
-
Analogue or digital?
I grew up in the 90s, I would prefer the digital version.
-
New York or remote mountain hut?
100% for the mountain hut, or a small hut on the beach.
-
Becks or Merlot?
Neither, but a well cooled beer from Bavaria ;)
-
And a little Proust: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
I don’t need that much to be happy, it is enough to escape the stress of everyday life. A mattress in my car (or my tent), my camera and off to nature!
-
Which living person do you most admire?
My whole family.
-
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Working and sleeping in an endless loop. Life is more than just work.
-
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My girlfriend and, of course, my camera.;)
-
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
As an aboriginal in New Zealand.
-
The world needs more...
peace, honesty and humanity. More sensitivity and consideration for nature and people.
-
I’ve changed my mind about…
good and healthy food.
-
What most people don't understand is that…
we have all the only one planet and every human is the same.
