Swimming Humanity on the Mediterranean

Worldwide, around 46 million people are currently on the run. They see no future in their home countries, no chance at a dignified life, with death constantly on their minds. Fortress Europe is "forcing" hundreds of thousands to board unsafe inflatable boats and nutshells, hoping  to reach an EU country via the Mediterranean. Every year, thousands of refugees are killed this way - men, women, children. "Mare Nostrum" saved the lives of almost 150,000 people - and yet, it was aborted. "Triton" was supposed to replace it, yet is a sham in many ways. The German government publicly regrets the situation in the Mediterranean, however it does not provide any specific proposals or plans. Those, who are dissatisfied with the predominant policies can either give up - or act!

Action for rescueing refugees in danger on the Mediterranean and legal means for them to enter Europe. That's what "Sea-Watch" is all about: Saving lives - every person rescued by "Sea-Watch" is a sign of compassion and humanity; raising public awareness through reports, audio and video material; attracting imitators. Becauce together, we are stronger.
