We are delighted to announce that Regis Boileau is our newest member of the Photocircle list of photographers. He has now been working as a professional photographer for 15 years and was primarily based in South-East Asia and South America. Originally from France, Boileau has an array of experience behind him. He has studied from Montpelier to Paris, then working as a freelance photographer with 10 years of traveling the world.
Boileau’s photography has an incredible energy. The composition is tight and the subject matter is always extremely considered. Currently living in New York, his ariel urban series is particularly composed so. With a mixture of both white and black photography and colour, he really captures his vision with a seasoned eye.
There is a beautiful juxtaposition of his urban series of architecture, the sheer gravity of the man made in relation to the intimate photography and the closeness in his Japanese Macaque pictures and the award winning series of the Guerilla’s of the Congo. These beautiful animals have been photographed with a great sensitivity it’s no wonder Boileau is a shortlisted wildlife photographer at the Sony WPO award. In 2013 he was also the winner of the Golden Camera, awarding the best architectural series of the year for his series of New York.
Boileau’s new collection of photography on Photocircle starts at around €20. You can buy these beautiful prints on fine art paper, alu dibond, acrylic glass and canvas print.
Welcome on board Regis!
