Our art plants trees 
With each Summer Framed Prints you buy, we plant trees in Ethiopia. Since 2021 we've already been able to plant 422.935 trees thanks to the wall art sold on Photocircle. They will absorb approximately 33.834.800 kg CO₂ within the next five years and improve the living conditions of the people locally.

With our framed Summer posters, you receive a ready-to-hang artwork. Firstly, we print your image on silk matte photo paper with a thickness of 260 g/m². Then, we mount the print onto the backboard of the frame to prevent any warping and ensure the picture sits flat in the frame. To protect the image, we cover our framed posters with shatter-resistant acrylic glass. The acrylic glass also creates an impressive spatial depth effect when viewing the picture. For the finished print, we cut a white 3 cm wide passepartout. The passepartout is surrounded by a 2cm wide and deep wooden frame. When ordering, you simply choose the size in which your new wall art will be printed. The framed poster is then 10cm wider and 10cm taller than the motif (3cm passepartout on all sides and 2cm frame thickness).
For our frames, we use solid wood sourced from sustainable forests, which is robust, durable, and stable. You can choose between three options – with a black lacquered frame, you can set accents and stylishly showcase your wall art. A white lacquered wooden frame surrounds your poster discreetly, softly, and simply, allowing the print to stand out. Both options allow for individual and interesting decoration and combination possibilities. Our oak natural frames are a real eye-catcher. Thanks to the beautiful wood structure, they create a warm ambiance and are particularly elegant when combined with the passepartout. The fundamental idea of Photocircle is simple. We want to give back to the people and countries that make our photos special. That's why, from the beginning, we've been supporting humanitarian and development projects in the regions where the respective images were taken through our print sales. And because both our artists and ourselves are willing to forego a portion of the proceeds, we're able to offer you competitive prices despite the high donation share.
In 2020, we began our reforestation project in Ethiopia. Our goal is to plant one million trees, which will not only absorb many millions of kilograms of CO₂ but also improve the living conditions of people in our project regions. You can learn more about our projects in the 'About Us' section.
